Irish Dexter Cattle

A small breed of heritage cattle.  They are a very hardy breed. They are perfect for a small homestead since they are about half the size of a full-sized  Herford. They do extremely well on pasture and scrub grass. Just like all other heritage livestock breeds they are slow growing.  But these cows have a long life expectancy and cows have been known to drop calves at 14-18 years old.

They have a lean and tasty meat which is lightly marbled.  A welcome addition to your homestead or dinning room table.  We sell livestock as well as beef.
